Attempting to set a destination at a timing point produces error 844 "Change of destination not allowed here". Timing points include station platforms, and in real life these are common places for the driver or guard to change their train's destination indicators, so this should be a suitable place to do so in BAHN too.
The destination list window disappears and reappears when you attempt to change the order in which the destinations are displayed on the list. Contrast with the route list which simply changes the order and repaints the list.

Hello,
Kind regards,

Yes. I generally do not recommend to change data at a timing point. In the past, this caused many trouble especially when changing data that can be used as a condition at the same place. So I decided not to allow more possibilities to change data here.Chris hat geschrieben:Attempting to set a destination at a timing point produces error 844 "Change of destination not allowed here".
Yes, this is true for classic indicators that are handled manually. However, modern computer controlled systems mostly change to the new indicator before reaching the last station. In result, waiting passengers there can read the new destination (or something like "Do not enter") in the moment when the train will appear.Chris hat geschrieben: Timing points include station platforms, and in real life these are common places for the driver or guard to change their train's destination indicators, so this should be a suitable place to do so in BAHN too.
Yes, this may be a point for some optimization.Chris hat geschrieben: The destination list window disappears and reappears when you attempt to change the order in which the destinations are displayed on the list. Contrast with the route list which simply changes the order and repaints the list.
