SInce first posting on here, and to the email address I use for BAHN, I have had six letters purporting to come from German banks, and asking for my account details. This is a well-kown scam and is technically termed "Phishing". If you do have a German bank account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. No bank anywhere in the world will ask for your account details via the internet.

I've already got such eMails. But I couldn't connect it with this Forum, because, there are many places, where you could get my eMail-adress ...

Auf Deutsch: Wenn ihr eine Email, die angeblich von einer Bank, Ebay, oder sonst irgendwas kommt, wo ihr eure Daten (Benutzername, Passwörter, PIN- und TAN-Nummern, ...) eingeben sollt - DAS SIND FÄLSCHUNGEN!

I don't have this advantage ...
