Tested a whole week while making bus lines; now everything works as desired. I've also fixed the narrow gauge towards Moffat to the border, and made a new line.

But the most time-consuming thing I've done is a timetable. I've taken all times in Ribbleshire and put them together (attached). Tell me what you think!

I will continue building until Saturday (unless anyone objects :)).

Good night and sleep well :D

Hello,

No. 258 of our BAHN Teamwork Project is just pressed into my Internet wire. Construction works in the Nene valley are going forward and opened the first renewed section for rail traffic, which was immediately used by IC102, now running from Eranthas via Corden and Lipsia to Shawhill (for Annandale & Eskdale).

IR102 was temporarily shut down, passengers please use local trains north of Blackley and IR101 south of Lipsia. It will be running again after my next slot, on its full length from Eranthas to Aviemore. The timetable of IC102 in North Bay is the same as before, and IR102 will also run at the same times as before.

I removed all unreferenced user graphic files and the large Christmas background from the ZIP (files currently not used but referenced via "File" -> "User Graphics Data" stayed, of course); I hope I didn't delete a file too much. Please don't include files to the ZIP which aren't referenced in the layout anymore.

Now it is Sirnight's turn.

Hello,
it is yenz’ turn, anyone working now? If not, I’d take the layout and open the InterCityLightning from South Neckffm. via Ardrossan and Lipsia to Shawhill (for Annandale & Eskdale) and Perth.

Btw, is it possible for you to update the map here?

To avoid any confusion, the territory I have built in is named "Siluria", and my prefix is "C". Just in case anyone hasn't been paying attention for the last few months. :-)

No file from me this time.

Currently, Silurian Railways is looking to operate the service with a restricted stop at Hopford Junction, and possibly one additional stop at Dorfield. They are concerned at the lack of service in the evening peak, and the prospect of being responsible for holding the rolling stock while not in use, in particular holding two of the three trains required for Scylla overnight, and for extended periods during the day. They are prepared to contribute the third train required, which would operated diagram C (below) - this would allow Ribbleshire Railways to get a return of their own stock each evening, and Silurian Railways would only need to berth one foreign train.

Proposed weekday (weekends to follow):

Code: Alles auswählen

              [B] [C] [A] [B]
Medford CS 05:55 08:27 14:27 18:55

Perth 07:51 10:21 15:51 20:21
Dorfield 08u05 10/33 16/03 20:34
Cornford G 08/16 10/42 16/12 20:46
Hopford J 08s24 10s50 16s20 20s57
Medford CS 08:41 11:07 16:37 21:14
0911/1511 arrivals at Perth are 3 minutes early because of IC110 departures at 0830/1430. There's no weekend timetable yet, since there's no weekend timetable anywhere on my patch yet.

Hello,
Chris hat geschrieben:They are concerned at the lack of service in the evening peak,
SC-ICL-S »Scylla« is now running with two trainsets in double traction on the PerthMedford section of the route.

I'd also do this with SC-ICL-C »Charybdis« on the Cordensometown east section, which currently terminates at Corden until you open your 6-figure town for traffic.

These two and SC-ICL-L »Loreley« are running in triple traction from South Neckffm. to Lipsia (and back), thus exhausting the limit set by platform length.

Future ICL trains, like the famous »Elizabethan« to Northampton via Wigan have to run as separate trains to Ardrossan, immediately before or after the existing one. (Anyway, since it's difficult at Ardrossan to split for Wigan and Lipsia.)
They are prepared to contribute the third train required, which would operated diagram C (below)
I put an OSE 651 in the blue and yellow livery of Medford Metro Rail onto the Medford section of diagram C.
There's no weekend timetable yet, since there's no weekend timetable anywhere on my patch yet.
Let's start with this trains to bring business travellers and tourists for day and weekend trips to you! :)

That's handy. It makes the trains more useful in the long hours that they are sitting in Medford - perhaps they could be used on a yet-to-be-built route somewhere else ...

Oh, nonono, Metro operate the commuter and regional service. The various parts of Silurian Railways operate the long-distance service. Since no other service operates in this livery, SR Marketing & Communications suggests that partner railways adopt the red-white as a single livery for the unified ICL service. Failing that, SR's long-distance traffic is in a fetching white-red-green combo, which you will be seeing before too long (next week, perhaps).

Also, I'd like to be yenz this week, unless of course he decides to be himself. Any objections?

a diesel route? Otherwise it might make sense to refit some of these sets with pantograph, since Scylla and Charybdis are completely running under wire now.

I already started, but I'm ready to release the next hour or so.

The route I was planning to build would have sections without power, but if you want to use electric traction, then I'll just have to use them on a different yet-to-be-built route :-)
I already started, but I'm ready to release the next hour or so.
In that case, don't rush on my account. In particular, I spotted a nasty traffic jam that tied up IC102 in the south at Shawhill. There's also some of the ICL end units facing the wrong way.
